GOREFEST Schedule European Tour Dates
January 10, 2006Reunited Dutch metallers GOREFEST have announced the first details of their upcoming European headlining tour, set to take place in February/March.
Commented the band in a posting ion their web site: "The list is not final yet and some changes may follow. The gaps will be filled in as soon as possible. With this tour we hope to meet and greet you all on a more personal level. We'll sure as hell give you an evening of GOREFEST that you won't forget easily. Full-on club shows with an extensive set list, great sound and a complete light show the likes of which our Dutch fans already have experienced the past month!"

GOREFEST's latest CD, "La Muerte", was released in Europe in October via Nuclear Blast Records. The album was recorded at Excess studio in Rotterdam, Holland with engineer Hans Pieters. Mixing duties were handled in August by Tue Madsen (THE HAUNTED, ABORTED, DISBELIEF, BORN FROM PAIN) at Antfarm studio in Denmark. A video for the album's opening track, "For the Masses", was shot with director Maurice Swinkels of LowLife Media (EXODUS, ABORTED, PRIMAL FEAR). Watch it online at NuclearBlast.de (Real Media).
GOREFEST issued several CDs through the Nuclear Blast label in the early 1990s before switching to SPV for their last album, 1998's "Chapter 13".
